I am thrilled to announce that my middle grade manuscript, The Summer of Moons & Monsters, won the Writer’s League of Texas Manuscript Contest for unpublished authors! My second project, Curse of the Catfish, was a finalist as well.
Check out the winners here!
A big thank you to the Writer’s League of Texas for hosting the contest, selecting my entries as finalists, and for their invaluable feedback. Thank you to literary agent Eric Smith for serving as the judge for the middle grade category and selecting The Summer of Moons & Monsters as the winner.
Additionally, thank you to my family for their support and encouragement. As always, all glory goes to God.
Fittingly, I celebrated with family and a slice of Shelob’s salted caramel cheesecake at the Hobbit Café. You can’t go wrong with any of their hobbit burgers. I also recommend the Lake-town shrimp rolls.
Now back to my keyboard.
